(ls bone stock) when i shift to 3rd or 4th gear from 1st or second the gears grinding. the only way it shifts without grinding is when i drop rpms to about 2.5k. n it also not grinding when i go from higher gear to those two gears. is there any way to fix that?! or i should just go with a new tranny.

try some GM syncromesh, if you change the tranny fluid with it sometimes itll stop grinding, wont neccasarily fix the problem but is a temporary solution, i'd probably take it to a transmission place though, you probably just have some bad syncro's

you may need a new clutch buddy mine was doing that as well

my car does the same, just in 4th. Changed tranny fluid with some cheapy stuff instead of genuine honda mtf. Oh well, bad syncros. Time for a new tranny =P

yea. i might just get a new tranny, cause i just changed my clutch n fluid as well n it didnt go away. i would go with itr tranny insted of just reg ls
