well, raspines comes from not having a cat or resonator. those straight through canister mufflers dont help either. youll have to weld a new flange to get your 2.5" to fit the stock 2.36 itr muffler and youll have a bottleneck in the exhaust.
i would just leave the b-pipe you have now and find a chambered 2.5" muffler and then have that welded up.

Re: (letsdrive)
well right now im running my itr catback but i kind of wanted to use the 2.5 inch piping that is just sitting in my garage.
i have a 2.5 inch replica twin loop to go with the 2.5 piping, but its way too loud. i want to stay quiet.
would it not make sense to use the 2.5 if its gonna be bottlenecked anyways at the itr muffler?

I don't think so, should just bolt right on. I have a stock muffler bolted to a comptech b pipe.

^ youre comptech b-pipe isnt 2.5". if his exhaust is true 2.5 the flange holes may not line up, or the flange might be flat faced and not have the donut like the stock b-pipe->axle-back

Actually, yes it is 2.5". Its the older style comptech that had the muffler with the 4" tip. I can't see this guy having any issues with the flanges.
