my integ is sputtering bad when i step on it at a red light and, when i have it in idle after running a while it sputters when i step on it to the floor but after i get it over about 2000 rpms its fine. When i take off on a red light it sputters/hesitates for about 4 seconds then it runns fine. 1992 rs 1.8 automatic

check ur spaqrk plugs and also put fuel injector cleaner in and that should soulve ur problem

i have a 91 integra GS 5-speed.

today on my way home i started having the same issues. at low rpm's it sputters for a little bit. but after 2k rpm it smoothes out and seems normal, other than it's pulling just a little bit less. i've only had the car for a month or so, and i've put new plugs in there and some injector cleaner in there.

it just started today, and i don't wanna let this go more than a day before i fix it.
i'm either thinking it's the distributor, or the fuel filter. but i'm not sure. help plz

are all you spark plugs tight? wires clicked onto plugs? get water in distributor? or around plugs?

i'll double check that all the plugs are tight, but i'm 99% sure that they are, cuz i just put them in like 2 weeks ago. as far as water or something, it's been dry, and it started doing this at the last 5 mins of my 20 min drive home.

ok, on my way to work just now, it was fine for 15 mins of my drive and at the last 5 mins, it started doing it again. but this time it was doing it even at a higher rpm. last night it was just utill 2k, but it was doing it at 4k today as well. i'll see how it acts when i drive to lunch, but then again i only drive like 3-4 mins to a place to eat, so i'm not sure if it's gunna cause it to do it again at that time.

ok, it's only doing it after it's warmed up. but at the same time (and just started happening) the temp gauge isn't acting normally. it seemed like it took a while to get warmed up, and when the temp gauge is in the middle (normal) it was still blowing cold air out the vents. then all of a sudden, it started putting out hot air. but when that happend the temp gauge went upto about 65%, instead of 50%. but when i starts blowing hot air it drops back down to 50% and then blows cold.

so seems like either i need a new thermostat, or something is clogged in my cooling system. the strange thing is, it just started doing this, and i've had the car for a month or so and it blew hot air once it got warmed up, like normal. but it always seemed like when the car was idoling, it was cold, and at stop lights, it got cold again.

plz point me in some kinda direction
